On Saturday 13th July a group of ministers and Local Preachers from Darlington and Barnard Castle and Teesdale Circuits enjoyed an Away Day at The Pathway, Middleton-in-Teesdale. After a time of worship and sharing work was done on developing peer review for preachers in the 2 circuits. Following lunch Communion was shared then some intrepid explorers travelled to Bowlees and walked to Gibson's Cave and Summerhill Waterfall (see photo). On the way they wandered around the old quarry and discovered how to identify spotted, scented and butterfly orchids and various other wild flowers thanks to Jenny’s botanical knowledge.
